Key West Tarpon Fishing….
At Dream Catcher Charters we have been reporting some awesome catches in the 60 – 100lb range on regular basis here just 10 minutes from the island and our port of call at Sunset Marina on Key West.

Live bait and some artificial have been the method of choice for a shot at some light tackle action. We are using 20lb braided lines on these fish with stellar results and strong fights. We have had to drop back to 30lb leader as the water clarity is superb. But, as you sight fish for tarpon its easy to hinge hook these fish in the side and not wear out the thin leader offering our anglers more shots.

We are doing 4 hour tarpon trips leaving 3 times daily here at Dream Catcher Charters for fun on the water. We are currently discounting our evening 4 – 8 pm trips to a great deal of $375.00 for 2 persons to fish on one of our state of the art Yellowfin Bay boats powered by Mercury Marine Verado.
