Looks like tarpon fishing will stay really good through the month of August. No reason for the tarpon to leave. In Key West we have been hitting the tarpon very hard early in the morning with multiple fish hooked up every trip.

In the upper Florida Keys we still have tarpon around the bridges and smaller fish along the edge of the flats for the shot at a flats fishing grand slam.

If it were me looking for a decent shot at tarpon. I would have to say Key West tarpon fishing would be my destination right now.
