Deep Sea Fishing Key West

Deep sea fishing Deep sea fishing

January 13 2016 – We all wait for the seasons to come and shake up the fishing one way or another. Well, Winter seems to finally be in Key West so the fishing has been pretty good.

Offshore the bite is pretty decent. Kingfish have made their way on to the reef along with copious amounts of boat and bonito. Black fin tunas are on the humps and the wrecks and the Key West deep sea fishing fleet is coming to the docks with fish every day.

The big question we are getting right now is Sailfish? Yes. we have been hitting a few sailfish. I will not say it has been a super bite but a good bite with all the other species to chose from. Your deep sea charter boat crew will make sure they have a spread that is made up of all the possibilities to ensure you get your rod bent as many times as possible.

Dolphin (Mahi) were a thing through Christmas and New Years week because we had super warm temps. We are still hitting a few but they are a bit smaller in the 8 – 15 lb category.

Its becoming busy season for us here in Key West for deep sea fishing charters. If you are looking to get out and fish the blue waters. Please call our office to check for availability for the fleet.
