Bluefever Gloves from Aftco

BlueFever Gloves. Tarpon Key West

We Always Tell The Tale..

The header photo was a shot that I took in tarpon season of 2010 here in Key West, Florida.

I was using a D3S Nikon and a pretty wide lens. The shot was to show off the AFTCO Bluefever gloves.

About the gloves.. they are the bomb. I have had then in everything and they have saved many a finger. After wearing them for a year or two there frankly is no other. Operating a fleet of 7 boats I have concern for my guides when they are handling large and toothy fish. Each one of my boats has these gloves on them as part of their equipment.

From catching and leadering to handling to filet table these gloves work well and last.

The AFTCO Bluefever™ RELEASE Glove is ideal for leadering monofilament, bill-grabbing a marlin, or just getting a grip on anything slippery. Extra tacky Diamond-Grip polyeurathane molded into nylon mesh palm improves glove’s grip in wet conditions. Super tough Armortex® along outer hand and reinforcing index finger maximizes protection when wrapping leader on a big fish. Vented foam-backed mesh keeps hands cool and protected, while Spandura® forchettes improve dexterity. Perforated neoprene cuff with Velcro® closure assures a secure fit.

You can get a pair anywhere on the net that you buy your tackle and supplies.
