The fishing here is awesome. no other word for it. June has opened up a bit windy but kept us quite cool. We just hit the summer lull for winds and things are perfect.

The flats we have tailing conditions daily for permit, bonefish and tarpon with some nice catches of redfish in the upper Florida Keys. The tarpon are still around in the channels and on the flats ready to eat a fly, live bait and artificial. The permit are in great numbers out of Key West and all the islands in between..

Offshore the bite is great with Marling during the full moon this summer through June and July. Dolphin from the 5 – 35 lb range have been caught in the last few days and things look like they will stay good.

The reef bite is still very strong with the mutton snapper spawn right on top of the reefs. Mangrove snappers are in spawn as well offering up some nice fish. Take only what you can eat to ensure a future resource, these fish are not exactly being sporting right now.
