January 23rd 2015 – They were here, now I am sure they are gone. Day late and a dollar short isn’t that what they say. Well nothing is different in the Winter Tarpon bite. The weather was just right for  a few days and it was ON! We have some nice eats on Thursday and Friday of this week of tarpon up to 75lbs.

That all came to a screeching halt when this cold front passed through early this morning. We now have winds as I write this in the 25+ category right out of the North West. Air temp has dropped 20 degrees and I am certain the bite is off..
